What Is Community Acupuncture? Community acupuncture clinics represent a return to tradition. It is an affordable and effective treatment plan, which can enable patients to receive more frequent treatments at a lower cost. More frequent treatments can enhance the benefits and effectiveness of acupuncture.How does It Work? Community Acupuncturists focus on using "distal" points (below the knee and elbow, and on the head and neck) so that patients can remain fully clothed during treatment. At Envision Personalized Health our community acupuncture clinic uses recliners rather than treatment tables. Many patients enjoy a community setting because they find it more relaxing. After an *Initial private intake session, patients receive acupuncture treatments in a comfortable treatment room set up with recliner chairs. Community Acupuncture sessions may treat up to 6 patients in a session. All patients benefit from the combined healing energy and effects. *An initial private intake session is required to obtain patient complete & private health information. For each community session, the patient will be asked to fill out a form to identify their primary health concern for treatment that day. This allows the acupuncturist to treat the patients efficiently in a group setting while maintaining their privacy. What Does It Cost?
