Tyler Lavigne
BS Kinesology
AFFA Certified Personal Trainer
YogaFit Certified Yoga Practitioner

Throughout my life I have always been a very active person, from learning to surf at a young age to strength training at multiple gyms. Fitness is, and always will be, a part of my life. I am inspired to help people make fitness and health a way of life.
I also have a very strong foundation in the health and fitness fields through my education. I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology (with an emphasis in Health, Nutrition, and Fitness) from San Diego State University. My focus on subjects such as Anatomy, Physiology, and many nutrition courses has strengthened my background on physical alignment, cellular benefits and overall healthy eating habits.
In conjunction with strength training, yoga is an important aspect of my life.  I believe yoga is a wonderful physical practice to increase flexibility and to create a feeling of oneness with the mind, body and breath.   I enjoy practicing it myself as well as teaching and sharing it with others. In July 2007, I received my yoga teaching certificate through YogaFit.
The core components I bring to my training are a variety of yoga styles
(Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga), experience with different age groups, creating personal connections and high motivation

John Workings
NASM Certified Personal Trainer

There are three constants in JP’s life, they are breathing, moving, and eating.

John started his fitness career in the late seventies to the late eighties. He enjoyed teaching group exercise classes, and assisting people with basic movement and program designs in gyms and health clubs through out the south bay in Los Angeles. Making a 180-degree career change he entered the culinary industry where he made a living working at some of the top restaurants in San Diego for almost twenty years. Feeling the negative effects of the culinary career on his health and fitness, JP decided to reignite his passion of health and fitness. He built a gym in his garage and started classes at Grossmont College to acquire his certificate as a personal trainer. Which brings us to right now! Where he is ready to help you as an intern here at Envision Personalized Health.

JP is passionate about educating and incorporating a simple and safe approach too these three constants that are in all of our lives and harmonizing them into a healthier, much more manageable lifestyle.
