Benjamin Corbett
California State Licensed Massage Therapist
Nationally Certified Massage Therapist
My interest in massage as a healing practice started very early. As a child, I was exposed to an alternative lifestyle by my parents, who raised me in India for several years. I was constantly surrounded by Meditation and Movement therapies. I never lost touch with the feeling of interconnectedness and how important Touch is to cultivate Healing. It was years before I found myself enrolling into Massage School here in San Diego at IPSB. I chose this program because it offered over 1000 hours of study in Massage and Bodywork. I found the emphasis on practical knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology unequalled. I felt the exposure to multiple modalities would propel me into becoming a successful practitioner.
My methods include but are not limited to Swedish(Circulatory), Deep Tissue Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy and CranioSacral Therapy. My client centered approach allows for personalized sessions, which are aimed at attaining relief from pain and everyday stress, as well as addressing maligned strength and balance issues you may experience. Every body is different so, I treat everybody individually.

Tyler Lavigne
BS Kinesiology
AFFA Certified Personal Trainer
YogaFit Certified Yoga Practitioner
Throughout my life I have always been a very active person, from learning to surf at a young age to strength training at multiple gyms. Fitness is, and always will be, a part of my life. I am inspired to help people make fitness and health a way of life.
I also have a very strong foundation in the health and fitness fields through my education. I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology (with an emphasis in Health, Nutrition, and Fitness) from San Diego State University. My focus on subjects such as Anatomy, Physiology, and many nutrition courses has strengthened my background on physical alignment, cellular benefits and overall healthy eating habits.
In conjunction with strength training, yoga is an important aspect of my life. I believe yoga is a wonderful physical practice to increase flexibility and to create a feeling of oneness with the mind, body and breath. I enjoy practicing it myself as well as teaching and sharing it with others. In July 2007, I received my yoga teaching certificate through YogaFit.
The core components I bring to my training are a variety of yoga styles (Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga), experience with different age groups, creating personal connections and high motivation.
