5 Essential Oils to Always Keep in the House

1. Lavender (Lavandula augustifolia)

Lavender, the most commonly used oil, carries anti-inflammatory, anti-depressant, and pain-relieving properties. Popularly known for relaxation, it calms the body and mind, and aids in sleep nourishment.
Unique Use: Add 5-8 drops to 1 cup of water and spray your bed linens lightly, promoting restful sleep or to overcome insomnia.

2. Lemon (Citrus Limonum)

Lemon is a powerful antiseptic, antifungal, antiviral, anti-cancer oil. It is great for boosting immunity as it supports white blood cell regeneration and stimulates red blood cell formation.
